Mrs. ißnikie, in the course of a lengthy statement from the box, said she bought sixpenny worth of arsenic. Brown took it from her and threw it into the fire, saying it was dangerous to have there. She declared that Brown drank quantities of ale and spirits, and would not take doctors’ medicine. She did all she could for E'is health. The jury retired at G. 30 p.m. , (Received June 19, 12.12 a.m.) The jury have found Mr=. Baikie not guilty of the murder of iltrown.
