Owing to the inclemency of the weather there was only a moderate attendance of delegates at the meeting of tlie Poverty Jl.iv Cricket Association at the British Empire Hotel last evening. The President (Mr. IV. F. Codenyall) presided. An- informal discussion took place on various matters completed'with- tlie advancement of the game in the district, ami it \ya« unanimously decided to call a genera! meeting of cricketers for Wednesday evening next, at the British Empire Hotel, to discuss, the possibility of J iving down a second turf wicket at Victoria Domain, and other subjects of special interest to the Association.
