THE CULVERDEN ESTATE a NEARLY 40 APPLICANTS FOR EACH SECTION. [Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, June 19. Application, lor the twenty-five holdings of the Culverden estate closed to-day. ‘ Altogether 982 applications were received from all parts ol the Dominion, representing 792 applicants, and over £160,000 was taken in deposits. The exiMiiiiation of applicants commences at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, and tho ballot will take place oil Friday.
