Carl Legion, a Socialist member of tho Reiclistag. addressing the Gorin in Trades Union Congress at Hamburg, claimed that free unionists now totalled nearly two million members, constituting the largest and most united organisation in the world, despitethe continual opposition of the ruling classes arid the Government. Herr Legion complained that- the new laws showed that the Government were still bent on opposing the labor move: incut.
