INDUSTRIES WEEK.
PROPOSAL FAVORABLY RECEIVED IN AUCKLAND. [Press Association.] AUCKLAND, June 24. A meeting of tho committee appointed to promote a New Zealand industries week in the city was held, this afternoon. The Chairman (Mr. Nathan) said the proposal had been well received, and nearly all tho business people had agreed to co-operate. A NEW PLYMOUTH RECOMMENDATION. NEW PLYMOUTH, June 24. At a meeting of the New Plymouth Employers’ Association' to-night, the recommendation of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce, to hold a New Zealand Industries week in New I*ymouth during the week in which the British football match was held was approved. -
