The unirooms occupy the second upper floor and oil the ground floor there are il.e dining rooms, with accommod inoil for ICO, office, officers’ rooms, ladies’ sitting room, smoke room, scullery, lavatories, etc. All the rooms are beautifully furnished, aid there are twelve bathrooms with hot and cold water.

Tho People’s Palace Hotel will not supplant the old Workmen’s Hotel, which will bo kept going for casual.,, and will provido cheap beds and meals as in the past. Tlio Palace Hotel will supply a superior class of accommodation, and meals will be Is each or tickets wiß be provided at 10s per dozen. Board and lodging will be provided at 25s a week, or 5s Tier day. The funds for tho undertaking have been advanced from tho Salvation Army Property Fund. Any profits will go to support tlio social work of the Salvation Army and towards the upkeep of other homes that are not self-supporting. The heads of all departments will be Salvation Army officers, and all tho cooks and other employees will bo paid wages at current rates.
