CHRISTCHURCH, August 13. The Now Zealand Grand National Meeting was continued to-day ill 'beautiful weather. The attendance was large, and the course was in capital order. As on the first day, tlie racing was full of interest, the finishes for -the August Handicap and the Islington Handicap- being very close. The totalisator investments amounted to £19,439, as against- £20,887. Seventeen bookmakers were licensed inside and thirty-four outsicle.
