SYDNEY, August 27. The High Court has dismissed the State Attorney-General’s appeal against Mr. Justice Street’s decision that tho whole charitable gifts under the late George Adams’ will were When the cast was called counsel announced that a settlement had been reached, satisfactory alike to W. J. Adams, to tho Tasmanian property beneficiaries, and the beneficiaries of Tattersall’s sweep business. Ono of the provisions of tho agreement confirms the action of tho trustees of the estate in distributing unclaimed prize moneys’ from tlio year 1897 as they become by statute barred amongst charities of the States of the Commonwealth and in New Zealand. It also authorises the continuance or the distribution of such moneys so that frtirmet may he given to the wishes ofilie testator ill this respect.
