LISBON, August 28.

The Chamber at Lisbon has approved of the extradition convention with ■the United States. This treaty embodies twenty-two eases of extradition, hut excludes political offences. It does not regard as political offences attempts on the lives of Sovereigns or the heads of foreign States.
