AMERICAN DENUNCIATION. ATHLETES’ ANTAGONISM. United Press Association, Copyeight (Received Sejit. 24, 9.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 24. The Irish-Americiin athletes who competed at the Stadium have circularised every American college, attacking British fair play at- the present Olympic games. Judge Dowling, of the Supreme Court, Mr. James Sullivan, tlie -American commissioner at the Olympic games, and Air. Conway, president of the Irisli-Amorican Athletic Club, attended at a, dinner at New York, at which they denounced British unfair play. _ Air. Sullivan declared that the Liverpool policemen- wore prepared shoes for the tug-of-war.
