AIR, BRYAN’S STATEAIENT. United Press Association, Copyhight NEW YORK, Sept. 23 Mr- Bryan declares that Air. Haskell, treasurer.of the Democratic National Fund, is willing to appear before any tribunal Air. Roosevelt names. Air. Bryiin is willing he should do so, and declares lie must- oust Haskell if Roosevelt, alter investigation, supports Air. Hearst’s accusation that- he was a tool of the Standard Oil Trust-. The moment Air. Hearst’s attack appeared, Senator Foraker withdrew his engagement to speak at Air Taft’s meeting, declaring that though his own defence was quite adequate, he did not wish to damage him.
