ALLEGED BREAKING AND
ENTERING
Patrick Morris, alias McClusky, on remand, was brought up in connection with the burglary at Air. AV. J. Hennessey’s boot emporium. On tho application of Sergt. Hutton, a further remand was granted until Wednesday next. FAILING TO REGISTER BIRTH. The Registrar of Births proceeded against Adolphus Jacob Zacliariah for failing to register the birth of Ins child within the time siiecified. Defendant pleaded guilty, and said that the finding of a name for tho child had been the cause of the delay. His Worship pointed out that defendant was liable to a penalty of £lO, but under the circumstances ho would only impose a penalty of 10s, with 7s costs.
BREACH OF BY-LAWS
William Roland pleaded guilty to a charge of driving round the corner of Lowe Street and Gladstone Road :;,t other than a walking pace. His Worship commented on the dnngoro is nature of the practice, and in dieted a fine of 10s, and 7s costs.
A MAINTENANCE CASE,
The ease of a woman proceeding against her husband for the maintenance of herself and five children <vas mentioned, but as defendant entered an objection, His AVorship ordered a remand until Tuesday next.
