THE DOMINION’S IMPORTATIONS

[SrECiAL to “Times.”]

WELLINGTON, Sept, 29. A return presented to the House to-day shows that during the five years, as from August 1903 to August 190 S, 9,852,183 superficial feet of Oregon pine was imported into New Zealand. The importations of the same timber also included 6,176,719 laths and shingles, 4500 palings, and thirty round logs, the last-named being imported during the past year. Of the total quantity of ordinary timber, 6,914,734 feet came into the Dominion during the past year.
