A FASHIONABLE WEDDING.
REYNOLDS—CLARK. A wedding or exceptional interest in fashionable. circles took place at To Arai yesterday afternoon, when George Morris, eldest son of Air. J. R. Reynolds, of “Sandown,” Gisborne, was married to Eva, only daughter of Air. John Clark, of Opou. The quaintly-carved Native church was beautifully decorated, for the occasion by the girl friends of the bride, very pretty effects being obtained by the artistic arrangement of peach blossoms, lilies, and ornamental bamboo. The Rev. Edgar Ward was the officiating clergyman. Aliss Foster, a friend of the bride, presided at the organ, and played Alendclssohn’s “AVedding March,.” as the bridal party entered and left the church. The bride, who was given away’ by her father, was charmingly attired in a gown of ivory duchess satin, beautifully trimmed with tucked chiffon and silk embroidery, with voil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Aliss Helen Busby, Aliss Eva Williams, and Aliss N. AVaterhouse, who all wore pale blue ninon over chiffon taffetas, semi-Empire frocks, trimmed with cream lace, with pale blue hats to match. The bride and bridesmaids all carried beautiful bouquets.
