Attention is .directed to tho performance in His Majesty’s Theatro tomorrow night At tln A bright operetta entitled "“Too iftil-, ;M- by the Gisborne Juvenile Entertainers. It will bo the -first time tho piece his been presented to a Gisborne audience, and the music is said to be bright, tuneful and catchy. The performers have been specially trained by Miss Fishenden, and a feature of the entertainment will he a novel tambourine dance and drill. A crowded hoxise -is anticipated. ELTON COAIEDY COMPANY. Miss Grace Elton, of the Elton Comedy and Picture Compaixy, lias just, arrived in New Zealand again after a sixteen weeks’ season with Air. Harry Rickards in Sydney and Melbourne. The Australian press is loud in its praise of this talented young actress and musician. The “Tribune” says: “The big audience at the Opera House oil Saturday got its money’s worth in a fine bill. Grace Elton, who got back from Now Zealand recently, put on a first part musical act in which she dealt with, cow-bells, a wooden xylophone, and a violin interestingly, playing the violin any odd- way—between her legs, behind her knees, under her arms, with bon- in mouth—and getting good music out of it all the time. Graceful Grace Elton had the fiddle feeding out of her hand, so to apeak, and belted the wooden xylophone deftly, likewise ringing an old air out of common cow-bells.” The . company opens in Gisborne for a season of two nights only, one Friday, October 16. Miss Elton is supported by a strong company, including Mr. Fred. Elton,, the popular comedian, dancer and Whistler, and a eet of the most up-to-date London and'Continental animated pictures. Theatre-goers may indeed look forward to a treat. The box plan -is open at Miller’s, where seats may be reserved for 2s 6d.
