MAIN TRUNK RAILWAY.

A REGULAR SERVICE. A TWO-DAYS’ JOURNEY.

[Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Oct. 14. Trains will begin running to Auckland on November 2nd. but for some time it will be a two-days’ service, as it is not considered desirable to run fast trains over the central portion of the line till it lias solidified. Tho northern train 'will stop at- Taumarauui, and the southern train at Ohakune. They will be so run as to fit in with the junction for Rotorua in the north, and the junction for tho ordinary express to Wellington at Marton. Passengers will have to change twice. It is not.likely that the fast through train will be running till about Christmas.
