CAPTAIN AND A SEAMAN DROWNED. CIOTMND PASSENGERS REACH ' THE SHORE. United Press Association, Copyright (Received Oct. 23, 10.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 23. The coastal steamer Ivincumber was wrecked whilst crossing the Wanning River bar. A heavy sea was running and carried the Nine umber on to the end of ter. The vessel was badly damaged, and drifted on to the beach. , Captain Anderson and a seaman named W-alm were washed overboard and drowned. The remainder of the crew and passengers reached the shore safely in the ship’s boat. The Ivincumber has broken up.
