SYDNEY, Oct. 23. A lire destroyed the military drill hall at Wagga-Wagga.

Two 12-pounder guns, a quantity <7* and accoutrements, and- 10,000 rounds of ammunition were destroyed. The ammunition kept up a fusilade for half-an-hour, rendering salving dangerous. The lire brigade concentrated its efforts on drenching the portion of the building containing 200 pounds of gunpowder, thus preventing it from -exploding.
