THE GARRISON HALL

OPENING FUNCTION

The new Garrison Hall in Fiizherbert Street- will be opened this evening with a grand military ball. The opening ceremony will be performed bv Colonel Porter, C. 8.. and dancing will commence immediately afterwards. The East- Coast Mounted Rifles, Gisborne Rifles, and Defence Cadets are requested to parade in fulldress uniform at the hail at half-past seven to take part in the opening ceremony.

To-morrow evening a children's dance will be held. A uniform charge ol Is for each child and 2s Gd for adults, who’ will be allowed to dance after ten o’clock, will be made.
