WEST’S PICTURES
His Majesty's Tlieatre was well filled last evening, when West’s Picture Company again submitted the excellent programme given on Monday evening. Tlic scenes in Morocco, showing the life of the Arabs and Moors, the ‘‘Royal Lovers” and the “Runaway Horse” proved intensely popular and were loudly applauded. The management announce a complete change of programme Tor tonight. A special feature of the programme will a full series of films illustrating the visit of the American fleet to Sydney. Another notable film is one depicting first-class exhibitions of woodchopping. On Friday afternoon a matinee for children will be given, the performance commencing at 3 o’clock. A special programme of pictures will be selected for the occasion. O’NEILL’S BUCKJUMPERS. O’Neill’s buck jumpers and circus attracted a largo attendance last night. Three local riders, (Messrs T. Hewson, J. (Morris, and W. Williams, attempted to try O’Neill’s “outlaws.” Air. J. Morris rode his horse very well, and received well merited .applause. Although he did not succeed in staying on for a minute, Mr. O’Neill offered him £1 for his performance. Mr. (Morris refused the offer, stating he was only riding for fun. Maori Jack was brought out last night, but an offer of £2 for anyone riding him for fifteen seconds failed to find acceptance. The shooting of the two clever Barnard brothers was highly popular. Mr Ernie O’Neill gave a fine display, riding one of liis ftwn horses after a horse that liad been brought to him to ride had refused to buck, “Fun in the Stockyard” brought the entertainment to .a close. To-night another display will be given, when come “outlaws” are to hr- brought in for Mr. E. O’Neill to ride. Mr, J. A. Lucas, of the Coronation Hotel, offers a medal, valued at £3 3s, to be presented to anyone riding one of O’Neill’s horses for a minute.
