A third offender named John Erickson, on a eliargo -of drunkenness-, mas lined £3 with costs 2s, in default seven days’ imprisonment. A first offender, on a similar charge, mas fined IBs with costs 2s. STOWAWAYS'. Michael Ryan, “alias Hogan, alias Began, ahd Harry Hemmett, were charged with travelling on the Talune without having paid their fares. Both pleaded guilty, Hemmett was fined £1 with costs 2.5, in default four days’ imprisonment, and Ryan, 'whom the Magistrate said had a bad record, was fined £2 with costs 2s, in default seven daj's’ imprisonment. The hearing of a number of civil cases was adjourned.
