Both pleaded guilty, Hemmett was fined £1 with costs 2.5, in default four days’ imprisonment, and Ryan, 'whom the Magistrate said had a bad record, was fined £2 with costs 2s, in default seven daj's’ imprisonment. The hearing of a number of civil cases was adjourned.
