A CONVICTION IN WELLINGTON

WELLINGTON, Nov. 13. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, •judument was delivered in the caso of David Panic and Annie Panic, charged with having been occupiers of unlicensed premises (the Paragon hoarding-house), in Avliieh liquor avas sold. Both defendants ivere found guilty, hut the Magistrate (Air. W. G. Riddel 1 .), decided to treat the two , offences as one. Dai’id Barrie Avas. fined £lO and costs, and Annie Barrie was convicted and discharged,
