BOATBUILDIXG PREMISES BURNED.

AUCKLAND, Nov. 24. Brown's boatbuilding premises at Te Ivoptiru, including a new launch and valuable tools, was destroyed by y fire this morning. DAMAGES FOR DISMISSAL. NAPIER, Nov. 24. The Magistrate gave judgment for _ Xurse Brown in a claim against the * Hospital Trustees for £125 for wrongful dismissal .The amount of the claim was £2OO. MR. GUTHRIE ELECTED. FEILDING, Nov. 24. } The official declaration of the Orotia is:—Guthrie 2417, Pleasant- 1470, Hornblow 526. There will be no second ballot. FIRE AT A PRIVATE HOSPITAL. STRATFORD, Nov. 24. A fire at- 1 a.in. to-day did considerable damage to Nurse McQuay's 1 private hospital. The patients were safely removed. The loss is covered by insurance. IMPORTATION <OF STUD SHEEP. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 24. The steamer Ruapehu brought a number of stud sheep from England. They went into quarantine. The consignment includes two Leicesters, one ram for A. Archibald and one for the Bareli well flock: a Romney ram from C. File's flock for W. Grant ;and two Romney rams „from the same flock for Sir Joseph Ward. DIVORCE CASE. At the (Supreme Court to-day, iu t® the divorce Hounsell v. Hounsell and another, a decree nisi was allowed, to be made absolute in three months, with ..costs against the co-respondent.
