TIMARU WOOL SALES

The first wool sales will be held tomorrow, when a total of 3752 bales will be offered, compared l with 2155 tor the corresponding sale hist year, the bulk of the catalogue comprising farmers’ clips off dry sheep. The season has been a favorable one on the Plains, growing wool clips of a better class than offered last year. The sale is expected to be a satisfactory one, with prices in advance of those ruling at the close of last season, and par to Ad Higher than the London September and October sales.
