SYDNEY, Nov. 25

At the half-yearly meeting of the Bank of New South Wales, the net profits were shown to be £167,928, which with £33,989 brought forward,made the total £201,916. A dividend of 10 per cent was declared, and £40,000 added to the reserve, £36,916 being carried forward. The chairman stated that during the year the advances increased by £1,915,000. There has been a considerable demand for money .for development purposes in New South Wales and' Queensland. In New Zealand business was also very active. The drop in prices of Australian products had been arrested, and the outlook was distinctly more cncouragipg.
