THE OTAGO TEAM. CANNOT PLAY AT GISBORNE. [Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Nov. 26. At the meeting of the Otago Cricket Association an application from Poverty Bay for a match against Ot ago was discussed. While favoring the proposal, the Otago Association had, owing to the inability of players to obtain tho necessary extension of time required! for the visit to Gisborne, to decline the application. The Otago team will play Auckland, Taranaki, Wanganui, and Hawke’s Bay on the northern tour. The team will bo a strong one, including tho two re-cently-engaged Australian coaches, Wordsworth (fast bowler), and Aylos (batsman).
