MRS. BUCKERIDGE’S CONCERT.
It is expected thut Mrs. Buckericlgo’s song recital in Ilis Majesty’s Theatre to-night will bo most successful. The programme .includes several bright and popular items, many of them entirely new to a Gisborne audience. Amongst the number arc Mascheroni’s “Ave Maria,” with violin and ox-gan obligato; Liddle’s “How Lovely are Thy Dwellings” ; vSanderson’s “My Dear Zoul” (Wessex love song); 'Ellen Wright's “A Song of Waiting”; a Iso “Songs at tho Piano.” Mr. E. N. iSidebottom ,is to play two pianoforte solos by Chopin, Mr. Johnstone Brown will recite Tennyson’s ballad of “The Revenge,” also “A Lullaby” and “Cuddle Doon,” aind Mr. Mark McKay will play a, violin solo. Tho booking lor the concert has been exceptionally good, and only a few soatsi are left In the dress circle.
