Mr. W. Miller returns to Gisborne this morning after an extended tour of the world. Aclideacon .and Mrs. Williams arrive from Napier by the s-s. Wimmera this morning. Hon. Capt. Tucker returns- from Napier this morning by ’the s.s. Wainmem.
Before leaving on bis return to England, Mr, (imiiston Chant, who •lias completed his supervision of Wellington’s new destructor, was entertained by . engineers and other business men. During the proceedings (states a. Wellington press message) he was presented l with the gold badge of the Ncav Zealand Marine Engineers’ Institute.
