POVERTY BAY COURSING CLUB
A committee meeting of the Poverty Bay Coursing dub was held in Mr. C. "Morse’s saloon last evening, avlien there were present: —Messrs R. Davidson .(chairman), B. Sutton, H. Paterson, R. Lewis, S. McPherson, F. King, W. Whitfield, and C. Morse (bon. sec.).
It was deckled to proceed at once with the work of fitting out the plumpton, and it was decided to accept the tender of Mr. Porter, of Auckland, for the supply of 3000 yards of wirenetting. The opening meeting of the club will be held on. Easter Monday, and ?t was decided to cncavor to arrange with the Railway Department for the running of special trains on that date. The secretary wishes to hear from any persons who may be in ta position to supply live hares, the club being prepared to purchase them in any quantity.
