A subs tion list opened in Sydney for them was headed by Mr. Thomas Burns, of pugilistic* renown. The adventurous pair, who are dressed for the occasion, will linger some days in Wellington before resuming their travels. They will then proceed to Vancouver, ziggag through the. States to Gaiveston, and hack to New York, across the Atlantic to the United Kingdom, to Paris, and on to Pekin, via .Russia and Siberia. This part of their initerary they claim to ho novel, and they are to he back in Bendigo within five years. Meanwhile they arc in Wellington under the wing of the Amateur Athletic Association.
