WEEDING.

SAINSBURY —SHERRATT. A very pretty and fashionable wedding was celebrated at Holy Trinity Church yesterday afternoon, when iMss -Edith Alice Yolande S'lierratt, third daughter of Mr. W. G. Sherratt, merchant, of Gisborne, was married to Mr. George Osborne King Sainsbury, partner in the ‘legal linn of Messrs Blair and iSainsbury, of this town. The ceremony was performed by the Veil. Archdeacon Williams, and the church was crowded with friends of the bride and bridegroom. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an exquisite Empire gown of pure white satin, with veil and orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses. The bride was attended by six bridesmaids. Miss Muriel Sherratt, sister of the bride, wore a Princess gown of apricot-colored taffeta, trimmed with crU.nn lace, and a picture hat trimmed with white .roses. Miss Ivate Sherratt wore pale blue, trimmed with cream lace-. Miss Iris McLean wore pink trimmed with cream lace; while the two little sisters of the bride, Mildred and Margaret Sherratt, wore dresse of pate blue ai^ n pale pink respectively, with made in the early Victorian. iand tlicv carried baskets • r 1 mi. p flowers.
