A REMAND GRANTED
At the Police Court yesterday imoming, before lion. Capt. Tucker and A. H. Wallis, J.’sP., the young juan. named 'Harold C. Phillips, who (had been arrested at Muriivai ou Wednesday was charged •with the theft of jewellery of the value of £6l, the /property of Herbert James Grieve. The details of the ease have already been published in these columns and when the case was called, Sergt. Hutton, who was conducting the prosecution, applied for a repi and in order to .enable witnesses from the to be present. A remand was granted until 22nd inst.
