POVERTY BAY CLUB
The races for Mr. Frank Harris’ gold medals were continued last night, when four further heats were rowed. J. McConnell and Huston (l2sec) beat T. McConnell and Whitfield (13sec) by a few feet, after a splendid finish ;J. Nicolas and Blakely (3sec) beat F. Seymour and Thaxter (4sec) by a length; F. Clark and Hobart (i2sec) beat M. McLeod and Bristow (7sec) by two lengths; B. Lowe and Porter (lsec) beat J. Newton and Kart-on (lOsec) by half-a-Qength, after a good race. The races will! be continued tonight.
