NELSON POISONING CASE.

FURTHER EVIDENCE OF DOAIES- . TIC UNHAPPINESS.

[Press Association.]

NELSON, Dec. 21

The inquest on Mrs Gertrude Agnes Good, who died from the effects of strychnine poisoning on Wednesday, was resumed to-day. At the previous sitting Robert Good, husband of deceased, had -deposed to deceased telling him she had taken strychnine after they had had a quarrel, which happened frequently. She dreaded her approaching confinement, and had been depressed in consequence. Further evidence of domestic unhappiness was given, and letters written by deceased to relatives were read, in which she alleged that she had been unkindly treated by her husband. The inquiry was further adjourned.
