NARLER, Dec. 22. The last of tlio series of cattle-steal-ing charges was heard at the Magistrate’s Court to-day before Mr <S. C. McCarthy, S.M. William Brewer was charged with on December sth, .at Runanga, on the Nap ie r-Taupo road, stealing 44 head of cattle of the value of £l9B, the property of Richard lveenan and James Reid. The accused reserved his defence arid was committed for trial at the next sitting of the Supreme Court. Rail was allowed.
