YOUNG MAORI PARTY.
CONFERENCE OF EX-STUDENTS
[Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Dec. 29. A conference of representatives of the past students of the three Auckland Maori secondary schools (Three lyings College, St. Stephen’s School for Boys, and the Victoria School for Girls) was opened to-day, the primary object being the formation of an association on the lines of the Te Ante Association. The Rev. J\ H. Simmonds (Principal of Three Kings College) presided. It was decided to form an association to lie called “The Young Maori Party, Northern Branch.” There was a good attendance, and much interest was manifested in tlio proceedings. The conference will sit again to-morrow and the following day.
