The junior representative match Otago v. Canterbury. avas concluded to-day and resulted in a win for Canterbury by 309 runs. In their firstinnings Canterbury scored IGF- and ■declared their second innings closed avhen seven avickets had fallen and the score standing at 413, the total score being 577. Otago made 106 in their first innings and in their second innings 162. AVANGANUI V. OTAGO.

The cricket match, AVanganui v. Otago, concluded to-day in fine weather, though a strong avind b’eav across the pitch. Otago fciade 330 and 242 for six avickets, AVanganui ■made 216 and 96, Otago thus avinning by 260 runs.

The Auckland —Canterbury representative intorprovincial match for the Plunket Shield avas resumed shore to-day In fine weather. Heavy, rain •fell during the evening. The wicket was very dead this morning. It improved as the day avoro on. There avere sensational features during the -day’s play. Rolf took tavo aadekets in his’ over.
