SPECTACULAR DISPLAY.
SIGNOR. BORZONFS PAGEANT
.Signor Borzoni arrived in Gisborne from the South yesterday morning to make arrangements for the spectacular display “The Birth of the Empire,” which is to be held in the Garrison Hail during the month oi' Fehnnry. Signor Borzoni met the members ol the Garrison Hall Executive Committee last evening and made preliminary arrangements to start training the performers. I/a ter on Signor Borzoni also Diet those who had volunteered to assist in the. display. There was a large attendance of iadies, gentlemen and children, and times, which are advertised, were arranged for the classes' to commence receiving instruction. There is room In all the classes for more performers, in fact Signor Borzoni will take as many volunteers us he can get. The'opportunity to learn correct "deportment •and dancing of all kinds, under an efficient master in Gisborne, is a, rare one, and young people and parents of children should lake advantage of the chance offered.
