BUSINESS PARALYSED. A CONFERENCE PROPOSED. United Press Association. . Copyright SYDNEY, Jan. 6. Additional police, including twelve mounted men,, started for tho Barrier last night. Business at Broken Hill is’paralysed. The trouble also lias a serious effect on the trade at'Port Pirie. Tho Proprietary line was cut yesterday to jirevent a provision train reaching the mine. Eleven officials were injured on Monday in the affray. Mr. Worsley, chief surveyor, is the only serious case. Ho is still unconscious. -
Tho Miners’ Association notified their willingness to provide a delegate to confer with representative mineowners and the President of the Arbitration Court with a view to a settlement.

All tho linos to tho Proprietary mine have been damaged. Another force of 110 police was despatched to-night.
