It is now announced that the Japanese Foreign Office consider Yuan Shj Kai’s dismissal likely to prove a disturbing factor in the Chinese situation. Officials at Washington believe that the tension, has been somewhat relaxed since Lang Tung Yeng’s appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs. WARNING TO THE REGENT. BRITISH, AMERICAN, AND JAPANESE ACTION. (Received Jan. 7, 11.30 p.m.) •PEKIN,, Jan. 7. The British, American, and Japanese Ministers have warned the Regent against any administrative act calculated to endanger internal peace.
