A VIENNA NEWSPAPER ARTICLE - t ■. . - .. VIOLENT ATTACK ON BRITAIN. United Press Association. Copyright " (Received Jan. 7, 10.50 p.m.) VIENNA, Jan. 7. The “Neue Frie Presse” in an extraordinarily violent article, declares that Britain pretends to be peaceful, Stirs tup fire in Belgrade, and incites a boycott with the object of ruining Austria’s industries. The article states that Britain’s hostility to Aus-tria-Hungary is intended'to demonstrate the danger which any country incurs by standing by Germany, and affirm that Britain drops poison into the ears of the Servian Ministry and continually lays new traps for Austria at Constantinople. LONDON, Jan. 7. The “Times’ ” Vienna correspondent says:—“The article has caused considerable sensation. „ There is strong reason to believe that it represents Count Aebrenthal’s personal views. The majority of Austrians of my 'acquaintance deplore it, some terming it crazy.” TURKEY AND GREECE. THREAT TO BOYCOTT GREEK GOODS. (Received Jan. 7, 11.30 p.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, Jan. 7. A movement has been initiated in Constantinople and a committee formed to v boycott Greek goods if the Athens Cabinet encourages the reopening of the Cretan question. ANGLO-GERMAN RELATIONS. A MOVEMENT TOWARDS FRIENDSHIP.
