Fraser, ill’, lor AVakatipu. who lias been laid aside by illness lor some weeks, is now able to take outdoor exercise. T > At a meeting of the Hawke s Bay Land Board yesterday, Air. Hyde said he intended to leave m a few weeks on a trip to Australia, America, ■ and England .and lie intended to resign his seat on the Board, which he had held for sixteen years.. Avhen lie first joined the Board it was difficult for the members to find work to clo, and lie had seen the importance of the wo tic done increase during those years. He was sorry to leave the Board, but when lie returned ’he would probably stand as a candidate to represent the Crown tenants and might even oppose Air. Lane (laughter). Air.
