The schooner Awanui, with a cargo of wool from Pakarae*, arrived at half-past 11 o’clock last night. ■Messrs Richardson and Co.'s -Punt is due from Nt tpier this morning with •general cargo, and returns again in the evening. The U.IS.S. Co.’s Mokoia. is duefrom soil fall this morning, and 'leaves again for Auckland and Sydney. The Tuatea leaves the wharf on her arrival and again at 11 a.in. Tho U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai returns from Auckland to-morrow afternoon and Continues her voyage south in the evening. Outward passengers •leave the wharf at 5 p.m. The ketch Coronation arrived from Whitianga- yesterday morning. She left her leading (port on Saturdny last .but on the first day out was compelled to shelter under Slipper Island from a strong easterly gale. .Lie ■and variable south-west to west winds were experienced across the Bay of Plenty and until this port was reached. Her cargo consists of 87.000 ft of timber for" different consignees. The scow Welcome ads o' arrived from Whitiangu yesterday morning and experienced similar weather. Her cargo was -2o.000i : t of timber, consigned to Air. G. Smith, and 10 tons of spikes and 40 tons o,f rails for the Public. "Works Department. The following wore the shipments from this .port by the Tyser Co.’s Star of New Zealand*, which left- here last Tuesday:—.Shipped by .Messrs WilIViins and Kettle: 3103 bales wool, 303 pockets, 34 pelts, 41 casings, 8219 carcases mutton, 5777 carcases lamb, 323 carcases beef. By Messrs Murray. Roberts and Co.: 2 bale^wool. The N.Z. Shipping, Co.’s Kaikoura is due here from Auckland next Monday to iload approximately 3000 fishes of‘wool ‘and a quantity of tallow.
