C O NSID ER ABLE-D AMAO E. [Press Association.J WESTPORT, Jin. 16. Owing to a heavy downpour of rain, <a portion ' of the township of Granity was flooded. The water was in, some houses to a depth of nine ,inches. !MY Stafford, a storekeeper, owing to tho water invading his premises, had a 'considerable amount of flour damaged. Mr and Mrs Mathieson got flooded out, and had to sleep in the (library. 'The water was dammed back owing to insufficient drainage. '
