PROMISCUOUS PISTOL PRACTICE. [Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Jan* 16. During a picture show at Karangahake, a man named W. Russell proclucecl a revolver and cleared the hail by firing promiscously. Fortunately no one was hurt. Further excitement was caused during the hearing ol a charge against Russell in the Paeroa - Court. One of the Justices was handlinn the revolver when it accident ly discharged. It fortunately proved that the weapon was only loaded with blank cartridge. Russell whs fined £2 and costs, or seven days’ im-pris-, onrnent.
