- The ordinary monthly meeting of the Gisborne .Hospital Trustees was held last evening. Present ; i lie Hon. Capt. Tucker (in the chair). Messrs -AV. D. S MacDonahl. AL , G. Darton, A. F. Matthews, I. .Holden, and F. J • Lysnar. Tlio following donations were received : —Public Works camp, £l4 os 2d; F. Hall. £1; and Alessrs Pottie .and Co., £2 2s. Miss Stewart reported that Nurses Faddy, AVi Ilia ms, .and P,aimer had passed their examinations. . Niuise Eaddv bad tendered her resignation. Nurse Eaddv’s resignation was accepted with regret, the chairman speaking appreciatively of liei seivices to the Hospital. , - The Secretary, reported having written the (following letter to a man wlio had visited the institution during prohibited hours: Ino Aledical 'Superintendent reports tlmt you have entered the wards contra: \ t 0 hi s orders. Such action constitutes ;> ■ trespass, 'and it shall not be allowed to happen -again. The Auckland Hospital Board replied that the claim for £26 made lor treatment of 6 patient- that came from Auckland coitUl not be allowed as the patient had not resideu m Aneb’and for six months. , ' The Secretary was instructed t make further inquiries.
