AVAN GAN U L CALEDONIAN SOCIETY. (P ress Association.) AVANGANUI, Jan. 22. The Wanganui Caledonian Society held their twenty-sixth annual meeting to-day, in glorious weather. There was A ■''largo attendance.. -The meeting word a decided Caledonian appear;! nec, there being a large .numbor of competitors in tho dancing and pipe events. Center, the Scottish champion, practically scooped the pool in. this department. . 'Campion won all the cycling events, save the half-mile. Tlio running events were won as follows: —Sheffield .
