Statistics prepared in Berlin show that Britain’s trade last year declined by £101,482,000, Germany £25,000,000, United States £95,436,000, and France £10,250,000. AUSTRALIAN BANKING OUTLOOK SYDNEY, Jan. 23. At a, meeting of the Joint Stock Bank, the chairman declared that the outlook for Australian hanking war never better. The general business prospects were propitious. The hank was preparing a scheme to cope with the increased business.
FACILITIES FOR COLONIAL SHIPPERS. LONDON, Jan. 22. He retains the secretary,ship of tho Labor party.
