MOTHER’S INSANE ACT
ATTEMPT TO KILL HER CHILDREN AND HERSELF. United Press Association. Copyright (/Received Feb. 3, 1.6 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Feb. 2. A woman named lcld, living at Park Yale, gave her two children, a Hoy .and a girl, a decoction of matchheads, .and drank some herself. She also shot the girl in the head. The latter is out of danger, but the mother and boy are in a critical state. It is supposed that temporary insanity was the cause of the act.
