ARRIVAL AT PERTH. AN INTERVIEW. United Press Association. Copyright (Received Feb. 3, 6.30 p.m.) PERTH,, Feb. 3. Hwang Yung Liang, Chinese Consul Vw New Zealand, has arrived, accqsffciik'd by his wife and daughter. Interviewed on the subject of Australian restrictions on Asiatics, ho said the Chinese did not like them,, but he/i/esired to make investigations before expressing ail opinion. China, he said, was developing rapidly, and was paying more attention to foreign affairs, as was evidenced by the institution in Australia of a Consular service. Some of the leading Chinese resri waited on Liang and informed him that the Australian law was not so rigorously enforced against Japanese as against Chinese.
